Virtual Annual Celebration 2020: Coming August 5th

Virtual Annual Celebration 2020: Coming August 5th Above: A photo from our 10th Anniversary Celebration last year, featuring staff, exonerees, and special guest Dr. Yusef Salaam.

Please join us for the Pennsylvania Innocence Project’s Virtual Annual Celebration, "Sharing our Stories," on the evening of Wednesday, August 5th, from 7:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

The event, which is the only major fundraising event the Project will be holding this year, promises to be compelling and illuminating, featuring the stories of two of our exonerees followed by a moderated question and answer session. We are excited that Black Thought, who is the co-founder and lead MC of The Roots, will be participating in our event. We will also be joined by Archie Williams, who has recently appeared on America's Got Talent, who spent 36 years wrongfully incarcerated before being exonerated in 2019. The legendary Patti Labelle will also make an appearance with us. It will be a powerful evening giving voice to two of our clients who have been exonerated, sharing the impact of our work, and raising awareness and funds to continue our important work.
